Checks

Questions about the whole market, each answered by a list we rebuild from every read: where the sources disagree, who holds power over a contract, which caps the books can’t carry, which unlocks are coming, who is shipping code.

Where do CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap disagree on market cap?

Tokens both aggregators put at $1M or more, by how far apart their market caps are. A gap usually means the two count circulating supply differently.

Which token contracts let the owner move, freeze or mint holders’ tokens?

Large tokens whose own confirmed contract keeps powers over holders. Powers to take or freeze tokens come first, then the rest, each by market cap.

100 tokens

Which top tokens have a market cap their order books can’t carry?

The top 300 by how little of the reported market cap the order books could absorb. Stablecoins and wrapped assets are left out: they redeem at par.

100 tokens

Which token unlocks in the next 30 days can the market not absorb?

Tokens whose unlocks over the next 30 days are worth at least a full day of trading, by how many days of trading they’d take.

Which crypto projects are actually shipping code?

Projects by commits from people in the last 90 days across the repositories they link to. Bots are left out.
